The array of Narcissi ‘tête-à-tête’ not only bring me sunshine, but also captures my attention straight away with their delicate clusters of golden-yellow bells that are shivering in the spring breeze. Thanks to the warmth of the gentle sunshine that has wakened up their tiny yellow bells.

Step 1
Using yarn A, make an adjustable ring
Rnd 1: ch-3 (count as 1tr), work 13tr into ring, ss into third chain from beg of round to join = 14sts. Do not break yarn A (leave it hanging).
Rnd 2: Join in yarn B, ch-3 (count as 1tr), work 1tr into same place as ch-3, then 2tr in each of next 13sts, ss into third ch from beg of round to join =28sts.
Rnd 3: Pick up yarn A from round 1, ch-3 (count as 1tr), *(work 2tr in next st, then 1tr in next st) rep *() 12 times more, 2tr in last st, ss into third ch from beg of round to join = 42sts.
Rnd 4: Pick up yarn B, *(ch-3, miss 2sts, then 1dc in next st), rep *() 13 times more, ss into first st of round to join = 14 chain spaces.
Rnd 5: Continue with yarn B, work 1dc into first ch sp, ch-2, 7tr in same ch sp, *(1dc into next ch sp, ch-2 and 7tr in same ch sp), rep *() 12 times more, ss into beg of first ch sp.
Fasten off and weave in all yarn ends. Ensure gently tighten adjustable ring before weave in end.
Be different – try switching the colours around to create your own designs. Note: using a different type of yarn may change the size of the coaster!
Happy crocheting!
